Interim Diversity Statement

The Pantheon Foundation is committed to serving all Pagans, Pagan organizations and projects, within the bounds of our mission and non-profit status. We expect those persons, organizations, and projects to likewise abide by such standards, while recognizing that some groups may specialize in their focus to a specific population.

Because of this, standard forms of non-discrimination policies and diversity statements will not serve the complexity and nuance of our community.

Therefore, the Pantheon Foundation will at this time only state the above intention. We have engaged a process of examining the real needs of our mission to the Pagan community with respect to this important issue, have begun a process of compiling exemplars and contemplating how they would affect our mission and community.

To inform our process, we are reaching out to selected representative members of challenged or oppressed constituencies to discuss the draft policies so that they will be in alignment with the needs of the Pagan community and the Pantheon Foundation.

This process will take some time, but once concluded, the community-informed and board-adopted policy will be posted here. At that point further comment will be invited to yet more broadly inform our policy and, as appropriate and as we learn, the policy will be versioned.

We thank you for your patience, and ask for your good intentions to support this necessary work.
