We will explore different treatments of the melancholy prince of Denmark in films by Kenneth Branagh, Lawrence Olivier, Kozintsev and Almereyda to see how those from different cultures perceived the enigmatic hero.

Bill Harlan, Ed,D. has taught Shakespeare for 40 years and is a frequent speaker at both the California and Oregon Shakespeare festivals.
