“The Winter Concert presents deep and timely music arising from local and more widespread environmental and social concerns. We’ll begin by doling out some hilarious audience etiquette instructions from our Maestro himself, Andy Del Monte.

In the Company of Stars asks for blessings from the stars on the cold winter’s eve. We importune celestial beings as well in Blythe Klein’s and Gordon Stubbe’s Angels, Allaudin Mathieu’s arrangement of O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, and Anton Bruckner’s heavenly version of Ave Maria.

The concert honors our deep trust of salvation in the traditional spiritual Deep River and concludes with Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.”
