We Players presents performance events that transform public spaces into realms of participatory theatre, encouraging public discourse and civic celebration through art. Their production history includes Macbeth at Fort Point, The Odyssey on Angel Island, Twelfth Night at Hyde Street Pier, and Hamlet on Alcatraz.

In this inside view into We Players’ unique site-integrated theatre practice, artistic director Ava Roy will share a multimedia presentation of previous work, discuss the company’s unprecedented collaboration with the National Park Service, and engage in a conversation with the audience about We Players artistic goals and methods.
