We will examine the marriages of some of Shakespeare’s most interesting women in film versions of the plays – Mrs. Ford and Page in Merry Wives of Windsor, Gertrude in Hamlet, Paulina and Hermione in Winter’s Tale and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth.

Bill Harlan, Ed,D. has taught Shakespeare for 40 years and is a frequent speaker at both the California and Oregon Shakespeare festivals.
