We’ll be looking at: Wyrd’s Webs. The Craeft of Wycces. Names of the Witch. Runes. Crones. The Witch Holda and Her Retinue. Witch Burnings. Voluspa: the Witch’s Prophecy. \n  \nWe’ll discuss advance readings from my forthcoming Secret History of the Witches\, and I’ll offer some all-new visual webcasts\, as well as live discussions via teleconference. \n  \nRegister here. You can go month by month ($31) or get a discount by prepaying three or more months at a time ($25 per month). \n  \nThe course runs from September 1 to May 1 (with a hiatus from late October to late November\, when I’ll be doing another Australian tour – more details on that in a month). In the 2015 section\, we’ll also go into the Irish Goddess and Brigid / Padraic chapters which got omitted in the last round (part III of this ongoing course). \n  \nThis is one more step toward publication of Secret History of the Witches\, and helps to fund its completion. I hope it will be a sourcebook for recovery of these spiritual legacies\, an aid in reweaving the the ripped webs of culture.”

SUMMARY:Margaret with Jason Webley and friends
DESCRIPTION:Margaret \nwith Jason Webley and friends \npresented by the San Francisco Institute of Possibility \nSaturday\, December 20\, 7:00-10:00PM \nThe Castro Theatre\, 429 Castro Street\, San Francisco \n$20-$25 \nhttp://www.sfiop.org/posts/events/jason-webley-margaret \nhttp://www.eventbrite.com/e/margaret-tickets-13935091233 \nhttps://www.kickstarter.com/projects/562632750/margaret-by-jason-webley-and-friends \nhttp://www.jasonwebley.com \nhttp://www.castrotheatre.com \nhttp://www.theruckerfamilysociety.org \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtEZoNS4vyE \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGnykxaULhc \n  \n“A scrapbook found in a San Francisco dumpster inspires new music and stories by: Jason Webley\, Chicken John Rinaldi\, Eliza Rickman\, Shenandoah Davis\, Led to Sea\, Lonesome Leash\, Mts. & Tunnels\, and more. \nTwenty years ago\, San Francisco showman Chicken John Rinaldi found an old scrapbook lying at the bottom of a dumpster. The book documented the life and death of a woman named Margaret Rucker\, born in 1907. He was captivated by this mysterious woman and her tragic story\, captured in sepia images and dark poetry. \nLast year when he introduced her to accordion troubadour Jason Webley\, he learned that not only was Margaret born in Webley’s home town of Everett\, Washington – she was the daughter of one of the town’s founders\, buried in the enigmatic pyramid above the town. \nWebley and Rinaldi assembled some of the best songwriters in the country to write new works inspired by Margaret’s life and writings for a special concert in Everett this past April. As an encore to that sold-out show\, they are bringing the concert back to the place where that scrapbook was found with this show at San Francisco’s beautiful Castro Theatre.”
