The Divine Feminine is the Goddess in all traditions and cultures that have been in place since the beginning of time. These traditions are powerful\, mystical\, magical\, and primal to Mother Earth. It is a time of restoration\, healing\, and renewal. \nAs these feminine energies intertwine with our Divine Spark the birthing of ideas are limitless – the task is to sort out which idea calls the heart to step forward and take flight. \nDuring this fireside chat\, Flordemayo will share with us the ideas that are calling to her heart\, especially the importance of saving seeds\, and the work she has created with The Path\, five sacred temples for humanity housed on 40-acres in Estancia\, New Mexico. She will also share a simple practice of connecting to the divine feminine. \n  \nSign-Up Now and Receive \nOnline fireside chat with Flordemayo and Robin \nYou are encouraged to join the conversation during the program \nUnlimited online access to the video recording following the event \n  \nCurandera espiritu (healer by divine spirit) and Mayan priestess Flordemayo is one of the 13 grandmothers of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers\, a global alliance that teaches ancestral ways of prayer\, education and healing. Flordemayo was born in a small village on the Nicaragua/Honduras border. Her father was a local shaman and her mother was a midwife and healer\, whom Flordemayo apprenticed with from the age four. As her own children grew\, Flordemayo began to work as a healer. Today\, she uses the sacred breath\, laying on of hands\, application of herbs\, as well as distance healing\, with her clients. \nFlordemayo has worked with alternative western healers\, Native American and Mayan healers. She received her Mayan priest training from Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj\, a respected spiritual leader and head of the Quiche Maya Council of Elders. Flordemayo is now recognized as a priestess by the Maya. \nFlordemayo has been a featured speaker on Curanderismo at many conferences on traditional medicine\, both within the United States and internationally. Many alternative healing practitioners\, medical doctors\, nurses and medical institutions have recognized her knowledge and natural healing skills. She is a recipient of the Martin de la Cruz Award for Alternative Healing\, a prestigious honor given by the International Congress of Traditional Medicine. \nSince 1999\, Flordemayo has been a part of the Wisdom of the Grandmother’s Foundation.”

He has published several very popular science books\, including Pulitzer Prize-winning Guns\, Germs and Steel and\, most recently\, The World Until Yesterday. Diamond’s conclusions are critical and provocative\, exploring concepts such as how humans evolved to be so different from other animals (despite sharing over 98 percent of our DNA with chimpanzees)\, and why Eurasian peoples conquered Native Americans and Africans instead of vice versa. Diamond yet again challenges the way we think in The World Until Yesterday\, as he chronicles tribal peoples and what they can teach us about the shortcomings of modern society. Join Wonderfest and the Commonwealth Club for an hour of intellectual stimulation with one of the world’s most celebrated polymaths.”
