Dear Friends of the Pantheon Foundation,
The Board of Directors is pleased to report that our socially responsible investments have continued to grow, even under the current trying conditions. The balance last year was $11,667 and as the August 1 start of our fiscal year, $12,257, an increase of $590, approximately 5%.
The Foundation took on responsibility for Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) last year. BA has earned $3,326 passively selling books this fiscal year.
There is an opportunity here for Pagan activism. BA needs a new Board and as a non-profit religious publishing enterprise, there is possibility of a mentored relationship with Concrescent Press, Sam Webster’s publishing house for some person or persons interested in taking up the art of publishing. Let us know if you are.
These are challenging times. It is vital we survive them, resisting them where we can. We have survived times like these before. Our decentralized and networked way is resilient. Hunkering down, going to ground are all effective ways of surviving. Yet, it will be community that will succeed in pushing back against this imposition upon our rights. Community, people gathered with purpose, is the only thing that has ever won against this foe. May you find hands to hold.
With our best wishes,
The Board of Directors of the Pantheon Foundation,
Sam Webster, president
Timothy Williams, secretary
Barbara Cormack, treasurer
