How many lady beetles have you ever seen at once? One? Five? How about hundreds?

Join us on Saturday, February 14 as we search for clusters of overwintering convergent lady beetles!

We’ll walk an easy 3 miles through a beautiful forest in Redwood Regional Park searching for the seasonal phenomenon of these insects huddling together for warmth. Our walk leader will be Sara Fetterly, an East Bay Regional Park naturalist.

Parking fees apply ($5 per car). Bring drinking water, snacks, jacket, and don’t forget your camera!

We’ll meet at the Canyon Meadow Staging Area on the eastern side of the park- you’ll drive through Redwood Gate (where you’ll pay your parking fee) to get there.
