Quite a few people seem to be interested in having a Pagan Singles Picnic. Let’s do it!

Actually, let’s have at least TWO of them, if there’s enough interest: one straight/bi and one gay/bi. Why? Because when our Temple group organized some singles parties some years back, people liked it that way – less risk of miscommunication.

I’ve been trying to find a venue for these for a while: one problem is that in order to reserve space at any county park or Palo Alto park, I have to pay up front and know how much space I need (some reservations are per table). Reservations for these areas are very expensive, and since I don’t have that kind of cash floating around, I’m holding these without reserving space – meaning, we may or may not actually get picnic tables.

So bring a picnic blanket and food to share: I’ll bring a blanket where we can lay out the food buffet-style. The park has plenty of space, so if we don’t get tables we’ll get a grassy area.

When you arrive, please check in with me for your name tag (and feel free to toss money in the bucket: no one will be turned away for lack of donation)!
